Synestria's form on Nimth.
Synestria is an Elder godess of which extremely little is known. She seems to have existed even before Nex and the others had arrived on.
The Crystal Stone[]
The plane of existance on which nimth stand, possibly even being its true creator. Her only remaining legacy is the mythical Crystal stone, a powerful magical artefact that illustrates the great might she must have, probably surpassing even Nex's power.
Most of what is known of Synestria comes from the following quote from a passage in the Volturan book of Divinity, which confirms not only that she is a being, but also that he is either female or genderless, since Nex is also genderless but referred to as he:
"I've seen a vision by touching the strange orb. It has communicated to me that it is 'The crystal stone', owned by Synestria, and protected by creatures she has enslaved for the purpose - the Demikin One of the first of the Humans touched the Stone and it changed them drastically...this is how they became Mages." - Vladron Steel, First of Kin 3:13
In the Demikin journals entry in the Volturan Book of divinity, it is said that Synestria cursed the Demikin to protect the stone. Kerapac, the creator of the Queen Dragon, is working on a way to free the Demikin from Synestria's curse as he believes it makes them weak and they are not slaves. Kerapac also says at the end of the Journals that they will kill Jas; The manner of which they may do so is currently unknown.
